What you actually do.

The offer in three pillars

Know, do, prove.

It all happens in the same warehouse, the one Glass+ is opening in Valencia.

Know

Understand the module

Every concept is explained when you need it, with 36 reference sheets and 10 diagrams to consult whenever you want.

Do

Do the job

71 hands-on tasks in a simulated warehouse, across the ERP, the WMS and the RF terminal on the floor. Miss one setting and the parcels leave through the wrong door.

Prove

Prove your skill

The missions cover the topics of the official SAP EWM certification scope, in the exam's hands-on format, inside our own simulated warehouse.

What holds you back today

You know the EWM vocabulary. You wouldn't know how to run a warehouse.

You have probably read articles, maybe memorized what a storage type is. But the day you have to put a sensitive product in the right place or send each truck to the right door, you do not know which setting to open first.

The demo made sense. The dock does not.

You recognize the warehouse monitor and follow a demo without trouble. Then the goods are waiting on the dock, setting up putaway is your job, and you do not know which screen to start from.

Scattered settings

Storage search, replenishment, work queues, packing, doors: you can find an explanation for each one, but rarely how they hand off to each other inside one warehouse.

Two systems, one set of goods

The order starts in the ERP, the goods move in the WMS. Until you have watched a document travel from one to the other, you cannot tell why nothing shows up on screen.

Mistakes are expensive on a live site

In a real warehouse, no one lets you break putaway to see what happens. So you have never seen what a wrong setting does, or how to recover from it.

The forklift terminal stays a black box

You set up work queues from the office without ever seeing what reaches the RF terminal in the aisle. The day it only offers picks and never a putaway, you do not know which setting to check.

In interviews, they ask for a real case

You are asked how you solved a warehouse problem. If you have never worked out for yourself why a pallet went to the wrong place, you recite definitions. The recruiter wants to hear you trace the symptom back to the setting that caused it.

This specialization starts right there.
You join the team at Glass+ in Valencia just as the company opens its own warehouse next to the plant. PVB film that has to stay cool, parcels sent to the wrong door: you fix each problem in the system, all the way to the dress rehearsal, where you run the warehouse for a full day with almost no help.

An unprecedented format

We don't explain EWM to you. We have you do it.

The Valencia plant is ramping up faster than planned, and serving the south from the Munich warehouse no longer works. So Glass+ is opening its own warehouse, and you have until go-live day to get it ready, one project at a time.

C Claire Dubois Project manager · Glass+ Spain Before the first receipt

The PVB film has to stay cool. If it ends up in dry storage, the roll goes straight in the bin. Can you make the system put it away in the climate-controlled zone on its own?

01

Your inbox fills up

Claire Dubois, project manager, then Nuria Sanz, operations manager, send you the warehouse's problems. It is on you to work out what is wrong and fix it in the system.

02

The roll goes where your settings send it

As long as one indicator is missing on the product, the film goes back to dry storage. You complete the storage search chain, redo the putaway, and this time the roll goes to the climate-controlled zone.

Material for your interviews

Each mission ends with a debrief of what you configured, and a "mission portfolio" sheet helps you turn it into a skill to present in an interview.

What you will be able to do

Six moves of a warehouse consultant.

By the end, you will have configured and then operated a complete warehouse, from goods receipt to shipping.

01

Steer putaway

You will know how to set up storage type, section and bin search so that a sensitive product goes to the right place on its own.

02

Automate replenishment

You will know how to have a picking area refilled from reserve storage as soon as it drops below its minimum, with no manual step.

03

Organize the forklift operators' work

You will know how to set up work queues and their sequence so the RF terminal alternates receiving and shipping, with no empty trips.

04

Pick the right packaging

You will know how to have the system choose the right carton for the ordered quantity, based on packaging specifications.

05

Isolate suspect stock

You will know how to move a batch to quality stock and physically take it out of the rack, so no picking touches it.

06

Send every flow to its door

You will know how to set up staging areas and doors so pallets, A-frames and parcels each leave from the right dock.

Who this specialization is for

Who it is for, and who it is not.

Missions reach you by email, the simulation guides you step by step, and hints are there when you get stuck. You can start from zero; warehouse experience or some time in SAP just makes the first missions easier.

This specialization is for you if…

  • You want to know which setting to check when a roll ends up in dry storage or parcels wait at the wrong door.
  • You come from logistics or warehousing and want to move over to the configuration side.
  • You are moving into SAP consulting and want to walk into interviews having configured a warehouse yourself.
  • You have started on EWM projects but only touched one part of the warehouse, and you want to see the whole picture, from receiving to the shipping dock.
  • You are preparing the SAP EWM certification and want to practice on hands-on cases.

This specialization is not for you if…

  • You are already an experienced EWM consultant: this level is below yours.
  • You are looking for a full retraining path with human coaching: try Beyond the Horizon instead (a specialization of your choice is included).
  • You are looking for a course to watch passively: here you spend your time working hands-on in the system.
  • You would rather work on procurement than on the warehouse: take a look at the SAP MM specialization instead.
The path in detail

Ten missions, from the first truck to go-live day.

The whole path takes place in the new Glass+ warehouse in Valencia, next to the plant, from its very first goods receipt to the first wave of trucks. The missions are grouped into four stages, and the tenth is the dress rehearsal.

Block 1 Missions 1 and 2

The foundations

You bring the first goods into the warehouse, from the purchase order all the way to the bin. Then you set up the chain that sends the PVB film to the climate-controlled zone, and you find out why it keeps going back to dry storage.

The first inbound flow, from order to putaway
How the ERP and the WMS talk to each other
Storage search toward a climate-controlled zone
Block 2 Missions 3 and 4

Stock ready to serve

The seals picking area must never run empty: you set up replenishment, then watch it trigger on its own. Next, you organize the RF terminal so forklift operators alternate receiving and shipping.

Automatic replenishment of a picking area
Your first outbound flow, from sales order to goods issue
Work queues and the forklift operators' RF terminal
Block 3 Missions 5 and 6

Pack and check

Seals are shipped in cartons that are too big: you have the system choose the right one. Then a batch of broken panels has to leave the rack and move to quality, without any picking touching it.

Automatic carton selection
Packaging specifications
Moving a batch to quality stock
Block 4 Missions 7 to 9

Advanced flows

An automated aisle where the system believes it stored a pallet the machines never moved. A first wave of trucks with three flows for two doors. Metal A-frames to track in stock.

Multi-step putaway toward an automated rack
Staging areas and shipping doors
Tracking reusable packaging
Final Mission 10, go-live day

The dress rehearsal

A full day with no safety net: a new product to receive and put away, a wave of picks on the RF terminal, shipping by flow and one more A-frame on the count.

A new product to receive and put away
Guidance kept to a minimum
A trap no one warns you about
10 missions 71 hands-on SAP tasks 11 transactions 13 configuration screens 36 reference sheets
The Key User Training method

Three choices you will not find in a video.

You set it up yourself

You join the team at the Glass+ warehouse in Valencia. You open every transaction yourself, from the menu or by its code, as in the real system, and every setting goes through your hands, from the configuration screens to the RF terminal.

The warehouse remembers

Your settings and your stock carry over from one mission to the next. The system checks the actual state of the warehouse, not your clicks: if the roll is not in the climate zone, the mission does not move on.

Traps, as in a real project

Almost every mission hides a missing setting to diagnose. Progressive hints help you when you are stuck, without handing you the answer upfront.

Michael has been an SAP Logistics consultant since 2022, in-house at Ceratizit, where he works on S/4HANA and EWM. He has been SAP EWM certified since August 2023. Before becoming a consultant, he was a key user on an SAP implementation project: that is where the name Key User Training comes from.

Co-founder of Key User Training with Pierre Balbinot, he designed the Glass+ simulation on a simple principle: you only teach a topic well once you have lived it, failed at it, or fixed it on an assignment.

In practice: the specialization follows the order in which a real warehouse is set up, from the first goods receipt to the first wave of trucks.
Trustpilot reviews

What our learners say about Key User Training.

These reviews are about our training in general. This specialization is too new to have its own, but it is built the same way: concrete cases, inside a simulated company.

★★★★★

The simulation is what unlocked it for me

I tried courses on Udemy, explored the SAP Learning modules, and something was always missing to become a junior SAP consultant. The simulations and module configurations based on virtual companies are really what sets Key User Training apart. Every euro spent is truly worth it.

It is like you are on SAP

I already worked as a SAP user, so I did this course to refresh my knowledge. The interactive way of the course is the best, it is like you are on SAP. It is dynamic, with a base of an enterprise case, so it helps you understand and think in those terms. I will always recommend this course.

Tailor-made and a perfect fit

Key User Training is to SAP training what a good tailor is to the textile industry: hand-stitched, elegant, and for me it was tailor-made and fit like a glove.

The 3rd pillar: prove it

Practice for the hands-on format of the SAP EWM certification

In 2026, SAP changed its certifications. The EWM certification (reference C_S4EWM) is now taken in the system, with hands-on tasks to carry out, not just boxes to check.

The specialization covers the topics of the official scope of this certification. You work through them in missions we wrote, in our own warehouse, with our data and settings, all the way to a dress rehearsal that chains everything together:

  • Warehouse structure and the first inbound flow, from the ERP to the WMS
  • Storage search at putaway, down to a climate-controlled zone
  • Automatic replenishment of a picking area
  • Forklift operators' work queues and the RF terminal
  • Automatic packaging selection
  • Moving stock to quality
  • Multi-step putaway toward an automated rack
  • Staging areas, doors and tracking of reusable packaging

The day you sit the exam, you have already carried out each of these processes in a warehouse that holds together, and you know why each setting matters.

The questions we get before people start.

What is Glass+?

Glass+ is the company we built for you: a glass group opening its own warehouse in Valencia, next to its plant, and handing you its ramp-up. It is the setting for the whole specialization. You need nothing else, no other course and no prior knowledge of it: everything is inside the simulation.

Do I need to take the MM specialization first?

No. The specializations are independent: the first mission starts from scratch. If you have done MM, you will meet Claire Dubois and the Glass+ setting again, nothing more.

Do I need SAP access to follow this?

No. Everything happens inside the simulation, from your browser. No installation, no SAP system to set up on your side.

I am a beginner. Is it doable?

Yes. The simulation explains each concept when it is needed and guides you step by step. If you first want to understand what EWM is, read our SAP EWM guide. Some SAP or logistics background makes progress easier, but it is not required.

How long does it take?

It mostly depends on how comfortable you already are with SAP, so we do not give a duration. You go mission by mission, at your own pace, you can stop and resume whenever you want, and access is for life.

And if I get stuck, with no coaching?

Each step offers hints, revealed one at a time: the first ones tell you where to go in the menu and which transaction code to type; the next ones help with the setting itself. The Documentation stays open alongside. If you want human support and a complete path, that is what Beyond the Horizon offers, with a specialization of your choice included.

How long do I have access?

Lifetime access to the specialization content, updates included. You come back to it as often as you need. Access covers the learning content and the simulation, not an SAP system.

What will I actually do?

You run 10 missions in a simulated warehouse. You carry out 71 hands-on tasks in the system, across transactions, the RF terminal and configuration screens, and you lean on 36 reference sheets. By the end, the warehouse runs, and you are the one who set it up.

Embedded or decentralized EWM?

The simulation works with two systems, the ERP and the WMS, and you see each document travel from one to the other. A reference sheet explains the difference between the two models and what changes for the consultant.

Is it in English or in French?

Both. The simulation is available in English and in French. Technical terms are given in English from the start, because that is how you hear them on projects.

Does this course prepare me for the SAP EWM certification?

It covers the topics of the official EWM certification scope (reference C_S4EWM), in the hands-on format of the exam, with our own missions in our own warehouse. The certification is not included: the exam is taken directly with SAP, and we advise you to also review the variants it may test.

What if it is not right for me?

You have a 14-day money-back guarantee. A simple email is enough, no questions asked, and we refund you in full.

Can I get an invoice for my company?

Yes. Key User Training is a Luxembourg training organization; we issue an invoice in your company's name after payment. If you need specific wording on it, contact us before purchasing.

The docks in Valencia are empty. For now.

Your first mission ends with a delivery received and put away. The last one plays out at the shipping docks, on the day of the first wave of trucks.
