From order to invoice, do the work of an SAP SD consultant.
A simulation where you set up sales for a new site, mission after mission: customers, sales types, accounting, partners and pricing. You take a role at Glass+ in Valencia, and any setting you forget catches up with you on the invoice.
Know, do, prove.
All three come from a single case: Glass+ sales in Valencia.
Understand the module
Each concept comes up when the mission needs it. You keep 36 reference sheets and 14 diagrams at hand, from the document flow to the pricing procedure.
Do the job
81 hands-on tasks inside a simulated company. The system rejects an invoice raised too early, but lets a sale post to the wrong account without a word.
Prove your skill
The missions cover the topics of the official SAP SD certification scope, in the exam's hands-on format, inside our own simulated company.
You can enter a sales order. You wouldn't know how to configure what sits behind it.
Nothing unusual there. You may have created orders as a user, or read the documentation. But the day you are asked to post sales to the Toulouse sister company to a separate account, or to show freight on trade fair orders, you do not know where to start.
A demo only takes you so far
You follow a demo just fine and you recognize the order screen. But when a customer is waiting for an invoice and the system refuses to create it, the demo never told you where to look.
Each setting explained on its own
Sales document types, item categories, partners, conditions, account determination: you find an explanation for each one, but never the moment they meet on the same order.
The user enters, the consultant decides
You may know how to enter an order and bill it. But deciding the document type, how the price is calculated or which account receives the revenue is the consultant's job.
Nobody lets you experiment with pricing
In a real company, no one lets you change a pricing procedure on a system that bills real customers. So you have never broken a price calculation to see how it works.
"Completed" does not mean shipped
The order says fully delivered, even completed. You tell the customer it is on its way, while the glass is still in the warehouse and nothing has been billed. Knowing which status to read, and on which document, is not something you learn by entering orders.
In interviews, you stick to theory
You are asked what you have already configured in sales. You can define account determination, but you have never worked out for yourself why a sale landed on the wrong account. An incident you diagnosed, written up in your handover file, makes a far better story than a definition.
Here, you start with a site that produces but cannot sell on its own yet.
In Valencia, Spanish customers' orders still go through Munich. With Lucía Ferrer, you teach the site to sell, deliver and bill without Munich, all the way to Feria day. On that day, nobody configures: everyone sells, and you only fix what gets stuck.
We don't explain SD to you. We have you do it.
Here, Glass+ hands you the sales of its Valencia site. Each mission starts from a specific request, the system responds to your settings, and it all comes back together on Feria day.
On trade fair orders, transport vanishes into the margin. I want a visible freight amount, separate from the glass price, on an account of its own. Can you set that up?
Lucía and Thomas write to you
Lucía Ferrer, who runs sales administration, and Matthias Brandhofer, the sales director, tell you what is wrong: a distributor that cannot be created, transport costs that vanish into the margin. It is up to you to find what is missing and set it up.
The system does not always warn you
As long as the order cannot find your pricing procedure, the freight does not appear, and no message tells you so. The price analysis shows you which procedure was used. You complete the determination, redo the exact same order, and the freight is there.
You hand over with a file
The final mission ends with the Feria file: a handover sheet for the project manager, with its checklist. A "mission portfolio" sheet also helps you present each mission in an interview.
Six skills you will have practiced yourself.
By the end, Valencia's sales are running: from Vidrios Quelmar's first order to Feria day, every setting has gone through your hands.
Run the sales chain
You will know how to take an order all the way to the invoice, delivery and goods issue included, and read its document flow.
Create a clean customer
You will know how to create a customer as a Business Partner, with aligned grouping and numbering, and its sales and accounting roles.
Create a sales type
You will know how to build a new sales document type, with its item and schedule line categories, such as a cash sale at the counter shop.
Wire billing to accounting
You will know how to post each sale to the right revenue account, through account determination.
Add a partner to the order
You will know how to create a partner function and add it to the procedures, so a Feria consultant follows every trade fair order.
Build a price
You will know how to create a condition type, a pricing procedure and its determination, then enter the amounts that apply.
Who it is for, and who it is not.
You work on your own, with Lucía Ferrer as your guide on site and hints when you get stuck. It is accessible if you are starting out, and more comfortable if you already know a little about SAP or sales.
This specialization is for you if…
- You want to configure SAP SD yourself, on a system that reacts.
- You come from sales administration and want to configure the system you use every day.
- You are retraining toward SAP consulting and want a complete sales case to talk about in interviews.
- You are starting out as an SD consultant and want to see a sale go through the whole module, from customer to accounting document.
- You are preparing the SAP SD certification and want to practice on hands-on cases.
This specialization is not for you if…
- You are already an experienced SD consultant: the level will be too basic for you.
- You are looking for a full retraining path with human coaching: look instead at Beyond the Horizon (a specialization of your choice is included).
- You are looking for a course to watch passively: here you spend your time working hands-on in the system and writing your file.
- You would rather work on procurement than sales: the SAP MM specialization is a better fit.
Eight missions, from the first order to trade fair day.
A single storyline: Glass+ sales in Valencia, a site that produces but whose sales are not structured yet. Eight missions grouped into four stages, up to Feria day.
The sales chain
You discover how the site sells today, then you run Valencia's first sale end to end. And you understand why the system refuses to bill before goods issue.
Customers and sales types
You open the distributor network by linking the business partner grouping to the customer account group, then you build the counter shop's cash sale, delivered on the spot and billed from the order.
Accounting and partners
Sales to the Toulouse sister company must post to a separate account: you set up the determination. Then every trade fair order must carry its Feria consultant, and the system objects until the procedure is complete.
Pricing
The sales director wants freight visible on trade fair orders. You create the condition, the procedure and its determination, and you find out why the freight does not show up on the first try.
Feria day
The fair opens: stand orders, counter sales and intercompany sales follow one another. You handle the day's incidents, then write the Feria file to hand over.
Three choices you will not find in a video.
You read before you guess
When a sale gets stuck, the document flow, the billing log and the analysis screens show you where to look. The simulation builds that habit from the very first sale, and it carries you through to Feria day.
Your settings last until the fair
The customer you create, the sales type you build, the price you set: nothing resets from one mission to the next. To validate a step, the system reads what your documents actually contain.
Incidents, as in a real project
Invoice refused, customer rejected, revenue on the wrong account: almost every mission hides an incident to diagnose. Hints, revealed one at a time, help you when you are stuck: first the menu path, then the transaction code.
Michael stands behind the specialization.

Michael Antoine
SAP Logistics consultant · co-founder of Key User Training
Michael has been an SAP Logistics consultant since 2022, in-house at Ceratizit, where he works with sales and delivery flows every day. Before becoming a consultant, he was a key user on an SAP implementation project: that is where the name Key User Training comes from.
Co-founder of Key User Training with Pierre Balbinot, he designed the Glass+ simulation on a simple principle: you only teach a topic well once you have lived it, failed at it, or fixed it on an assignment.
What our learners say about Key User Training.
These reviews are about our training in general. This specialization is too new to have its own, but it is built the same way: concrete cases, inside a simulated company.
The simulation is what unlocked it for me
I tried courses on Udemy, explored the SAP Learning modules, and something was always missing to become a junior SAP consultant. The simulations and module configurations based on virtual companies are really what sets Key User Training apart. Every euro spent is truly worth it.
It is like you are on SAP
I already worked as a SAP user, so I did this course to refresh my knowledge. The interactive way of the course is the best, it is like you are on SAP. It is dynamic, with a base of an enterprise case, so it helps you understand and think in those terms. I will always recommend this course.
Structured, progressive, concrete
Key User trainings take you by the hand. They are structured, progressive and combine theory with practice through demonstrations based on concrete situations encountered every day in companies.
Tailor-made and a perfect fit
Key User Training is to SAP training what a good tailor is to the textile industry: hand-stitched, elegant, and for me it was tailor-made and fit like a glove.
A leap forward in my SAP practice
Already a SAP user across several modules for a few years, the Key User Training team really helped me take a leap forward and genuinely moved my SAP practice ahead. The professionalism and availability of the trainers are their main strengths.
Five trainings, same clear structure
Five trainings already with Key User Training. It is really the same structure whatever the course: theory and practice through concrete situations. The big plus is the responsiveness, the trainers getting back to you on questions or difficulties.
Practice for the hands-on format of the SAP SD certification
In 2026, SAP changed its certifications. The Sales certification (reference C_TS462) is now taken on the system, with hands-on tasks to carry out, not just boxes to check.
The specialization covers the topics of the official scope of this certification. We wrote a mission for each one, in our own company, with our data and settings, up to Feria day, which ties everything together:
- The complete sales chain, from order to invoice and its accounting document
- The customer as a Business Partner, with its grouping and numbering
- A new sales document type, with its item and schedule line categories
- Revenue account determination
- Partner functions and their procedures
- Pricing conditions, the pricing procedure and its determination
By exam day, you will already have run each of these processes on the Valencia sales case, and you will know what breaks when a setting is missing.
8 missions, lifetime access, updates included.
One-time payment, immediate access, 14-day guarantee. You progress mission by mission, at your own pace, and come back whenever you want.
SAP SD Specialization
The work of an SAP sales consultant, inside a simulated company, from order to invoice and pricing.
Mission by mission, you build Glass+ sales in Valencia: the first order, then customers, sales types, accounting, partners and pricing, up to Feria day. Everything happens inside the simulation, with no SAP to install.
14-day money-back guarantee
If the specialization is not right for you, a simple email within 14 days is enough. Full refund, no justification required.
The questions we get before people start.
What is Glass+?
Glass+ is the company we built for you: a glass group whose Valencia site produces, but still sells without a proper organization. It hands you the job of structuring its sales. It is the setting for the whole specialization. You need nothing else, no other course and no prior knowledge of it: everything is inside the simulation.
Do I need to take another specialization first?
No. The specializations are independent: the first mission starts from scratch. If you have done MM, you will recognize the Valencia site and Claire Dubois, the project manager, but nothing more.
Do I need SAP access to follow this?
No. Everything happens inside the simulation, from your browser. No installation, no SAP system to set up on your side.
I am a beginner. Is it doable?
Yes. The simulation explains each concept when it is needed and guides you step by step. If you first want to understand what SD is, read our SAP SD guide. A little SAP or sales background makes it more comfortable, but it is not required.
How long does it take?
It mostly depends on how comfortable you already are with SAP, so we do not give a duration. You go mission by mission, at your own pace, you can stop and resume whenever you want, and access is for life.
What if I get stuck, with no coaching?
Each step offers hints, revealed one at a time, and the Documentation stays open alongside. If you want human support and a complete path, that is what Beyond the Horizon offers, with a specialization of your choice included.
How long do I have access?
Lifetime access to the specialization content, updates included. You can come back to it as often as you need. Access covers the learning content and the simulation, not an SAP system.
What will I actually do?
You run 8 missions inside a simulated company. You carry out 81 hands-on tasks in the system, across transactions and configuration, you lean on 36 reference sheets, and you write a handover file at the end. You will have held the role from start to finish.
What does the simulation not cover?
It focuses on the order, delivery, invoice, customers, partners, account determination and pricing. It does not cover credit management, tax, availability check or invoice cancellation, and a Documentation sheet lists what it simplifies. We would rather tell you upfront.
Which SAP version is this on?
The simulation reflects sales on SAP S/4HANA: the customer is a Business Partner, as in today's projects. The concepts you work on (sales types, account determination, pricing procedure) are fundamental and stay valid from one version to the next.
Does this course prepare me for the SAP SD certification?
It covers the topics of the official Sales certification scope (reference C_TS462), in the hands-on format of the exam, with our own missions in our simulated company. The certification is not included: the exam is taken directly with SAP, and we advise you to also review the variants it may test.
What if it is not right for me?
You have a 14-day money-back guarantee. A simple email is enough, no justification required, and we refund you in full.
Can I get an invoice for my company?
Yes. Key User Training is a Luxembourg training organization: we issue an invoice in your company's name after payment. For any specific details on the invoice, contact us before purchasing.
Valencia's first sale is waiting for you.
It is for Vidrios Quelmar. From there, you take the site's sales all the way to Feria day, and hand over with your file.
